'Eight the Same' - Nona Byrne
This is an extract from my Grandmothers book. This extract is a letter from my Grandfather, Vincent Byrne to his brother in America. My Grandfather was a P.O.W in Stalag Luft III, where the Great Escape happened, he fortunately did not escape then, but this is the inspiring letter he sent explaining how he escaped from the infamous Prisoner of War Camp.
